Delmarva and the Ground for Change to Screen with UMES Extension

Free, public film screening of the environmental documentary Delmarva and the Ground for Change will be held at SSC Ballroom on Thursday, November 2 from 6-8 p.m. 

Farmers around the Chesapeake and Delaware bays are leaders in environmental stewardship and practices that protect and promote healthy soils. These practices also safeguard working lands against extremes posed by climate change. This film follows three Delmarva family-owned farming operations who all care about and depend on soil.

This showing is part of the Small Farm Conference in partnership with USDA’s Northeast Climate Hub and University of Delaware Cooperative Extension.
