Water Waste Disposal Loan Guarantees

This program helps private lenders provide affordable financing to qualified borrowers to improve access to clean, reliable water and waste disposal systems for households and businesses in rural areas.

Private lenders can lend to eligible borrowers including Federally-recognized tribes. 

Climate change will present new challenges for tribal communities and businesses, which can exacerbate health risks and limit access to safe, reliable drinking water and waste disposal facilities and services. This program provides loans to support this type of infrastructure.
