Description

The USDA Forest Service is implementing regulations under the Food, Conservation, and Energy Act of 2008 (the ‘‘2008 Farm Bill’’). This rule provides for the provision of trees, portions of trees, or forest products from National Forest System lands, free of charge, to federally recognized Indian tribes (Indian tribes) for traditional and cultural purposes. This rule implements section 8105 of the 2008 Farm Bill. This rule is effective October 26, 2016.
