This series of case studies was developed using Adaptation Resources for Agriculture, a resource developed to provide a flexible, structured, and self-guided process to identify and assess climate change impacts, challenges, opportunities, and farm-level adaptation tactics for improving responses to extreme and uncertain conditions.
While the "menu" of adaptation strategies and approaches within the Adaptation Resources of Agriculture framework was developed for the Midwest and Northeast regions of the United States, many of the strategies are pan-regional and parallels can be drawn to region-specific issues. These case studies represent regions across the US. Additionally, a set of resources has been developed using the same framework for Alaska and specialty crops in California.
If you're looking to use the Adaptation Resources for Agriculture framework to complete your own adaptation project, the Adaptation Workbook is an online tool available to guide you through the process.
