Greetings! I'm Ty Frederick, currently a senior studying Agriculture Science with a concentration
in Agricultural Business at Langston University. My academic focus revolves around mastering
economic principles and strategies specifically tailored for agricultural marketing and
management.
Alongside my studies, I actively engage in various extracurricular activities. As a member of
Minorities in Agriculture, Natural Resources and Related Sciences (MANRRS) since 2021, I
belong to a professional network organization that facilitates valuable industry connections,
internships, conferences, and opportunities for individuals pursuing degrees in science,
technology, engineering, agriculture, mathematics, or related STEAM careers.
In addition to my involvement in MANNRS, I enjoy participating in music-related activities. I am
part of the LU Choir and LU's Gospel Choir, where I express my passion for singing. Outside of
university life, I find solace in nature, particularly at lakes, where I can appreciate the beauty of
the environment.
An essential aspect of my personality is my eagerness to explore and learn new things. I find
great joy in trying new experiences and embracing the challenges that come with them. As a
result, I have developed a love for travel, as it provides me with the opportunity to broaden my
horizons and expand my understanding of the world.
Overall, I am an enthusiastic and dedicated student at Langston University and look forward to
an exciting and informative work experience with the Southern Plains Climate Hub with
Agricultural Research Service.
