David Denton

David Denton is a contract Research Assistant with the USDA Southeast Climate Hub. David holds a bachelor's degree in Horticultural Science and a master’s degree in Biology from North Carolina State University. David previously worked with NCSU Agricultural Extension to help update the Extension Gardener Handbook and as a Teaching Assistant, guided students in hands-on botanical practices, including plant identification and conservation, fostering a comprehensive understanding of plant science. His primary responsibility with the Hub is to work closely with partners to develop a manual that will help technical service providers and landowners better understand conservation options on salt-impacted lands.
