As an ORISE Tribal Forest Management Fellow, Antoinette aims to support Tribes in integrating climate change science into their forest management plans. In this position, she will encourage and foster the collaborative process to create climate change resources that are specific to a tribe and their needs and values. These resources include a synthesis of forest climate change vulnerabilities, adaptation frameworks, decision-support tools, helping to build a library of adaptation strategies and tactics, and facilitating climate adaptation workshops. Prior to joining the Northwest Climate Hub, Antoinette was working on her PhD at Michigan State University (MSU), where she recently passed her dissertation defense. At MSU she focused on knowledge co-production with tribal natural resource managers and integrating tribal knowledge into forestry curricula.
