The 79th Soil & Water Conservation Society International Conference will take place in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina and bring together a diverse, mutigenerational conservation network of researchers, practitioners, industry leaders, farmers, and students from around the world. This year's conference theme is "Rising Together: Collaborative Conservation for All" and challenges everyone to rise to the great challenges and opportunities ahead.
The USDA Southeast Climate Hub will be hosting an exhibition table to connect with attendees and share resources for building resilience to climate change and variability. The Hub will also be hosting a symposium to provide timely information on climate smart forestry, identifying, mitigating, and adapting to saltwater intrusion, building resilience to hurricane impacts and speeding up recovery, and maximizing resilience and productivity through species selection.
