Tech Talks: Data Viewer August 7th

Virtual Tech Talk series event: Data Viewer web tool launching August 7th, 2024. 

 

The Caribbean Climate Hub will be launching its new Data Viewer on the next Tech Talk series event, August 7th, 2024

The new online tool can be used to visualize environmental data and characteristics for applications including risk analysis, climatic scenario assessments, land planning, and more. The Data Viewer can support decision making in agriculture and forestry. The tool aims to provide geospatial information to the agricultural and forestry sectors to support adaption to climate change and extreme events (droughts, floods, or hurricanes).

Agenda for each talk:

  1. Introduction to the Caribbean Climate Center tools.

  2. Technical demonstration of the tool to be discussed

  3. Individual exercise

Duration will be approximately 45 minutes each talk. Participants may use their cell phones, tablets, or computers to complete the workshop exercises.
