Develop a holistic approach to grazing management; understand rancher’s business approach, lands used, water management and competing demands from other resources and multiple uses.
Tactics
- Partner with permittee and other managers of lands they use to create a holistic grazing program.
- Understand changes in water availability to prepare and adjust grazing management.
- Implement education programs about climate change impacts and sustainable grazing practices (highlight both positive and negative effects).
